Kevin Hart Reflects on Life After Serious Car Crash
The Accident
US comedian Kevin Hart has opened up about how a serious car crash gave him profound insights into life and spirituality. The Hollywood actor was a passenger in a vintage muscle car when the driver lost control, causing the car to veer down an embankment and crash into a tree near Malibu. The crash, attributed to reckless driving, left Hart with significant back injuries.
Recovery and Reflection
Hart, 40, recently returned to social media, posting a heartfelt video on Instagram that documents his recovery journey since the September crash. The video captures Hart in various stages of his healing process: lying in a hospital bed, receiving help from nurses, using a walking frame, and undergoing physical therapy at home. His three children and wife, Eniko, also appear in the video, providing support and love.
In the video, Hart shared, “Basically, you realize you’re not in control. No matter how much you think you’re in control, you’re not in control. At the end of the day, it can all be over.”https://www.instagram.com/tv/B4OlTk0lT96/embed/captioned/?cr=1&v=14&wp=675&rd=https%3A%2F%2Fyalmiornew.xyz&rp=%2Fkevin-hart-reveals-encounter-with-god-after-a-life-threatening-crash-this-is-what-he-said-to-me%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR2h-GBRaWl3tWKiV18sbKUE_bkCXS_achuhABalBq9pTKOf1pIDueUeZTI_aem_ugufP_URu6kPI#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A1769.5999999940395%2C%22ls%22%3A868.9000000059605%2C%22le%22%3A1762.2999999821186%7D
A New Perspective
Hart continued, “When God talks, you’ve got to listen. Life is funny because some of the craziest things that happen to you end up being the thing you needed most. In this case, I honestly feel like God told me to sit down. When you’re moving too fast and you’re doing too much, sometimes you can’t see the things you’re meant to see.”
Reflecting on his ordeal, Hart noted, “After my accident, I see things differently. I see life from a whole new perspective.” He expressed immense gratitude, stating, “My appreciation for life is through the roof. I’m thankful for my family, my friends. Don’t take today for granted because tomorrow’s not promised. More importantly, I’m thankful for God, I’m thankful for life. I’m thankful for simply still being here.”
Moving Forward
Kevin Hart will next appear in Jumanji: The Next Level, a film he completed before the crash, set for release in December. Hart thanked his fans for their “love and support,” urging them to cherish each day, as tomorrow is never guaranteed.
