In recent weeks, fans can’t get enough of their favorite celebs emerging on late night talk shows.
Fans were all over Lisa Kudrow’s physical appearance during her interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The same held true with Keanu Reeves and his recent pit stop with Stephen Colbert.
As expected, the extended interview was all over the headlines. Keanu and Stephen shared brilliant moments together.
Let’s recap the interview, and a moment fans absolutely adored. Fans, of course, were also commenting on Keanu Reeves’ ageless physical appearance. The Matrix star continues to turn back the clock, looking to be in fine form.
Keanu Reeves Was On The Verge Of Tears Discussing The Matrix, But Fans Couldn’t Get Over His Youthful Looks
Judging by their past interviews, Stephen Colbert and Keanu Reeves never disappoint when the two are together. Keanu’s extended interview with Colbert touched on a series of topics. Keanu discussed everything from his new book, to some of the fondest memories of his career.
Keanu Reeves also took on the segment, Big Questions With Even Bigger Stars.
The interview takes a turn when Colbert asks Keanu to name the fondest memory that comes to mind when thinking about one of his classic films. Keanu is quick to answer most of the time. However, he takes a pause when The Matrix comes up. Colbert jokes that he’ll cut to commercial.
Keanu was on the verge of tears discussing what the film meant to him.
“The Matrix changed my life. Then, over these years, it changed so many other people’s lives in so many positive and great ways. As an artist, you hope for that. The amount of people that I’ve met, that have been touched by The Matrix in a positive way, that’s the best.”
A terrific moment. However, in the comments section, one of the most liked statements came from a fan discussing the actor’s looks.
“One of those dudes that just ages gracefully.”
The emotional moment takes place at the 1:08 mark.
How did other fans react to Keanu Reeves’ interview with Stephen Colbert?
- “Keanu’s response to the Matrix question was so profound and heartfelt that Colbert didn’t need to proceed with a John Wick question. Wrapped it up right then and there. Great moment.”
- “That really got me. So moving. As for the movie itself, to this day The Matrix is still the most mind-blowing experience I’ve ever had in a theatre!”
Keanu Reeves had another emotional moment with Stephen Colbert two years ago. Keanu said “The ones that love us, will miss us,” when asked about what he thinks happens when we die.
Keanu Reeves Also Discussed How Influential The Matrix Has Been To Cinema
Back in 2021, Keanu Reeves expanded on what he thinks The Matrix movies are really all about. Keanu tells ET he’s especially touched by the impact the film has had on others, and those in the cinema world.
Keanu Reeves made roughly $250 million for the first three Matrix films.
“It was influential,” he told ET. “I think the influences that went into The Matrix brought those influences to other filmmakers in terms of anime, camera angels, action. [It] started training actors and actresses to try and do more physical acting.”
Keanu added that the style of the film was also what hit with millions of fans.
“I think the humor, the style and maybe, well, I don’t know about the ambition,” he added. “It’s tough to make such an entertaining kind of science fiction film that’s also about philosophy and big ideals.”
Out of all his terrific work over the years, it is clear that The Matrix has a special place in the actor’s heart.
